This beautiful antique cut crystal vanity jar features an ornate repoussé sterling silver lid and dates to the early 20th century (1908). Elegant and timeless, pieces like this were commonly used as powder jars or trinket containers on dressing tables during the Victorian and Art Nouveau periods.

The thick crystal base features a classic faceted design that catches the light beautifully. The lid is made of solid sterling silver and decorated with intricate repoussé floral and scrolling patterns, characteristic of late 19th–early 20th century silverwork. At the center is a monogram that appears to read “KL.”

Vanity jars like this were used to hold face powder, jewelry, hairpins, or small keepsakes and remain wonderful decorative accents for vanity tables, dressers, or antique collections.
