This vintage Bucilla “Trend Setters” knitting kit is a fabulous throwback to classic handmade fashion. The beautiful Lilac and Cream colored fabric and yarn kit was designed to create a sleeveless pullover or vest along with a matching skirt, giving you a coordinated retro outfit straight from the era of stylish DIY wardrobes.

The kit contains 8 1/2 oz. of pure wool yarn to make either style, plus button rings and complete instructions. Also one yard of 58" bonded flannel fabric (50% wool, 50% rayon with 100% acetate bonding) to make skirt up to 29" waist using a "one-yard" skirt pattern. (Skirt pattern not included).

Requires: 1 pair Knitting Needles, Size 10 and 5, McCall Skirt Pattern No. 2905 (any A-line or pencil skirt pattern should work), 7" zipper for skirt.

The knitting portion allows you to make the sleeveless top in sizes 8–14, and the included sewing instructions guide you in making a skirt to fit a 23–29 inch waist. A wonderful project for vintage sewing and knitting enthusiasts or a charming display piece for a craft room.
