Vintage Hammered Copper Fondue Pot – Swiss Alpine Kitchen Decor

Stunning Hammered Swiss Copper Saucepan. This is a copper, lidded pot with a wooden handle and knob. The wooden handle is attached to the steel portion which is riveted to a decorative flourished steel plate for added beauty and durability.

The interior of the pot is tin lined. The pot has a classic elegant shape that is highlighted by the beauty of the hammered copper. The copper has beautiful charm of age and wear that lends itself to the design. I like the aged patina so I choose to not polish vintage copper.

This saucepan is from Alfred Stöckli in the Alp Rose line. The bottom of the pan is marked: Alp Rose, Alfred Stöckli Söhne Nestal, Made in Switzerland.

The pot has lived a previous life and has been used for cooking. The story of its marks helps to create its beauty.

The copper saucepan is in excellent vintage condition with an aged patina and very minor signs of use.
