Condition consistent with age. Please review photos carefully for details. There appears to be a water stain around the underside of the waves. It is not seen while sitting.

I am not sure of the actual original use for this piece. Some research says it is made from ash after the Mount St. Helens eruption in 1980. The underside appears it might have been mounted on something at one time. I cannot be sure of its origin.
