Vintage Nantucket Style Bentwood Cedar Box – Steamed & Shaped Wooden Storage Box – “WAM 12-01” Marked

This bentwood box is crafted in the traditional style by steaming and bending a single piece of wood into shape. Likely made of cedar, the wood has a warm natural tone and classic grain. The bottom is stamped “WAM 12-01”.

Bentwood boxes have long been valued for their versatile design. Historically, they were used for storing both wet and dry goods, cooking, and transport.
