Wilton Armetale RWP Pewter 7 Inch Small Eddy Swirled Oven to Table Pewter Bowl

This is a Wilton Armetale Eddy Serving Bowl. It has a distinctive swirled or fluted design, a scalloped edge, and a square base. Made from a food-safe, recycled aluminum-based alloy. RWP pewter refers to metalware produced by The Wilton Company, a company based in Columbia, PA, and stamped with the "RWP" mark. While it resembles pewter, it is actually a food-safe, aluminum-based alloy called Armetale that is durable and heat-resistant. It is designed to be used from oven to table. Will not rust, break, crack, or chip under normal use. Hand washing with mild soap and hot water is recommended.

RWP items are made of a patented, non-toxic, aluminum-based alloy called Armetale, not traditional pewter. This material is designed to have the look and feel of antique pewter, but is safer for use in food and beverage service.
The more the items are used, the more they will develop a patina that looks more like traditional pewter.
