Vintage Bering Sea Originals Bowl and Plate Handpainted by CHAY Made in Alaska #1000

This set is a hand-painted original from a small Alaskan Pottery place called Bering Sea Originals. The artist CHAY has signed and numbered both pieces on the bottom. The scene on both is a log cabin among the trees with flowers and birds accented on both. These are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or defects. The paintings are bright and crisp. These were likely produced in the 1970s according to research.

The detailed illustrations on both are wonderfully done and are now collector's pieces.

The cup measures 2 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" at the rim. The plate measures 6 3/4" in diameter. Both are signed and numbered on the backs.
