This charming vintage nightlight is made of bisque porcelain featuring a lithophane of an angel. A lithophane is a thin, translucent porcelain panel that creates a detailed image when backlit.
The night light is made of bisque porcelain, which is unglazed, giving it a matte finish.
The design depicts an angel in flight, holding a star.
Faintly in the bottom corner is silhouette of what appears to be Bethlehem. The piece is so designed that it appears to be a picture in a frame, so it sits beautifully on a table, mantle or night stand. What a beautiful reminder of our guardian angel that brings peaceful sleep.
