Set of 4 Vintage Maddock & Sons Kidney Shaped Bowls - Royal Semi-Porcelain

The backstamp indicates the item is made of "Royal Semi Porcelain" and was produced in England. "Royal Semi Porcelain" is a type of ironstone, a durable form of pottery. John Maddock & Sons was a pottery company founded in 1842 in Burslem, England.

All four are in excellent condition without any chips or cracks. One dish does have crazing. some of the gold edging has been rubbed off from years of use. Please see all photos closely as they are part of the description.
