Beautiful antique 1910s era marked Nippon hand painted and transfer porcelain plate or tray for serving or for decoration. The border features pink cherry blossoms, green leaves, and brown delicate branches with yellow trim and gold accents. This would make a fine addition to your antique porcelain collection or use as intended on your dining table to serve ice cream, candy, fruit or nuts. Fill it with treats and it would make a perfect hostess gift.

Measures 10.25" long from end to end and 7" wide.

The blue Nippon rising sun mark is on base. Van Patten attributes the Rising Sun’s mark to since 1911. This seems to narrow the window of use for the Rising Sun mark to 1911-1918.

Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks. There are areas of wear to the gilding.
