Vintage Old Grand-Dad Bourbon Whiskey Bottle, Cork Stopper, Ohio Tax Stamp

I am not sure of the age of this Old Grand-Dad bottle, but here is the information that I could find.

DETAILS OF THE BOTTLE:

Brand: Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Proof: The label indicates "100 PROOF".

Closure: The bottle is sealed with a cork stopper, which is a characteristic feature of older Old Grand-Dad bottles.

Distillery Information: The label states it was "DISTILLED AND BOTTLED BY THE OLD GRAND DAD DISTILLERY COMPANY FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY".

Historical Context: Bottles like this, especially those with cork stoppers, are typically from earlier eras before screw caps became more common for this brand.

Bottle reads "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE". This phrase was required on all liquor bottles sold within the United States that were made between 1935 and 1964

Bottom of bottle is stamped with D1. 15. 55 53

The stamp on the bottle is an Ohio Liquor Control tax stamp, and this specific design was used in 1939.

The bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips and what is left of the cork is intact in the bottle. There appears to be a bit of Old Grand-Dad inside the bottle as you can see in the photos. Bottle is 11" tall and 3" in diameter at the bottom.
