These corn holders were advertising products from Brown & Bigelow, founded in 1896 by Herbert Huse Bigelow and Hiram Brown. B&B has a long and diverse history, primarily in the promotional products and advertising specialty industry. The company initially focused on printing calendars, later expanding into other advertising items, playing cards, and even developing convict rehabilitation programs.
Advertising Specialties:
The company produced a wide range of promotional products beyond calendars, including items for the Bigelow Society and others.
Produced in St.Paul, Minnesota, possibly in the late 70s or early 80s, each tray measures 10" x 3" and the corn pokers measure 2 1/4" each. The style scream mid century, although I think these were made at a later date according to the history of the company. Definitely one-of-a-kind find and they come in the original packaging.
This line was called the "Butter Up" Corn Dish Set. 60-683-H. One of the trays is marked on the back with the Brown & Bigelow logo, Brown & Bigelow, Remembrance Advertising MI 6-4664
St. Paul, Minn.
