Vintage 1930 Citizenship Reader City and Country Lippincott Book - Good condition for its age

This is a beautiful old book. A dark blue in color with a scene on the front cover of children on a farm with chickens. The inside covers have beautiful illustrations as well of children, animals, farm life, and more.
Published by J.B. Lippincott Company, Chicago and Philadelphia.
It is in good condition for its age. The copyright page has a tear in it (see photos) and there are small tears on a number of pages. Page 117 is torn in half. It has a ton of stories for children and is beautifully illustrated throughout. The back has a Word List and on what page to find each.

The Citizenship Readers were written with the intention of helping young readers to grow up to be good citizens and make contributions to society. This particular book focuses on fact and stories pertaining to city and country living. Accompanying the text are quite a few color illustrations .
