Vintage Engineer Box - Linear Vibration Pickup Box with Hinge by Consolidated Engineering Corporation

This lovely old hinged box reads on the top "Linear Vibration Pickup Box, Consolidated Engineering Corporation". It is in good antique condition with some lifting of the outer fabric at one corner. It measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". Written on the bottom is 4-102A 517CL16
